Harlem Wizards Coming to Hudson to Raise Money for Lincoln

Help raise money for Lincoln Elementary and enjoy a night of hoops and alley-oops, too!

The Harlem Wizards are coming to Hudson High School Monday, December 1, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. for a night of tricks, hoops and alley-oops! The evening promises to be a fun-filled event that is great for kids and adults and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face! This event is hosted by the Lincoln Parent Group. They have brought the Wizards into town to help benefit Lincoln Elementary.

The Harlem Wizards have a unique mission: create awe-inspiring events throughout the country. At a Wizards game, fans will witness amazing basketball talent combined with hilarious comedy. It will be two hours of family time where parents, grandparents and kids can all laugh together. When you’re in the stands, you’re more than a spectator; you’re part of the show with loads of audience participation. Throughout the game, fans will experience a magical display of tricks, coordinated ball handling, fancy passing and aerodynamic athleticism combined with high-energy comedy and audience interaction. The experience can only be summed up with two words: awe-inspiring!

Facing the Harlem Wizards is the Hudson Tiger Roar Team featuring teachers, coaches and community members! Playing on the team are Jason Decker from Decker Insurance, 2nd Grade Lincoln Teacher, Hudson Boys Basketball Coach Wayne “Tree” Perry, SMCSI Program Manager Dan Rogers, Hudson Teacher Jodi Lawrence, Hudson Wesleyan Church Pastor Wes Rowan, 2nd VP at County National Bank Ron Haber, 2nd Grade Teacher at Lincoln Cassandra “Cazzie” Mansfield, Hudson Teacher / Girls BB Coach Coach Leslie Godfrey, Hudson Varsity Football Coach Chris Luma, President of RIMA Manufacturing Ed Engle, Hudson School Alum Katie Benscoter, Randy Darr of Darr Insurance, 3rd Grade Lincoln Teacher Dave Daniels, 5th Grade Girls Basketball Coach Melissa Gariety, Dr. Corey Borck of Borck Family Chiropractic, HS Math Teacher and CC/Track Coach Tom Romanowski, and Hudson Alum Chad Sanford.

Tickets purchased before the event are $10 for general admission or $20 for reserved seating. Tickets can be purchased either online at www.harlemwizards.com or by calling 517-673-5718. Tickets will also be available on the day of the game if they’re still available. We will also be selling food, drinks and Wizard souvenirs to help raise money! Pay for souvenirs at the event with cash or credit card. Free autograph session after the game.
