Junior class making baskets for troops

The junior class of Hudson High School is participating in a community service project. Together we would like to gather supplies to make baskets to send to our service men and women. Your help in this project would be greatly appreciated by the sophomore class as well as the service men and women receiving these baskets. The following supplies are great for making baskets to send to soldiers:

Deodorant; Shower to Shower body powder; Jelly beans; Disposable camera; Rice Krispie treats; Altoids/mints; Beef jerky; Snack mixes; Sunflower seeds, Chewing gum; Nuts; Long-distance phone cards; Little Debbie’s snacks; Ziploc bags; Jaw breakers; Poker game; Playing cards; Dice; Underwear; Hand warmers; Razors; Ink pens; Word Puzzle books; Foot massager, Foot powder; Paperback books; Music CD’s; Toothbrushes & toothpaste; Cookies in individual packages; Canned food items; Pringles chips, Licorice, Microwave popcorn; Cereal bars/granola bars; M&M’s (plain or peanut); DVD’s; Koozies to keep water bottles and cans cool, Newspapers, Magazines, Batteries, Shoe laces for gym shoes and boots; Brown t-shirts, Boot socks, Air fresheners (like stick-ups, F’breeze); Stress relief squeeze balls; Lysol wipes/hand & face wipes; Poker chips, Board games; Sewing kit.

The class will be putting the baskets together on Thursday, October 7, 2010. Please drop your donated items off at Hudson High School by Thursday October 7, 2010 between 6:00 – 7:00 PM.
