Join the William G. Thompson House Museum & Gardens and Rumors Inc for the inaugural “Day of the Dead Dash,” a 5K race and benefit for the Museum and for the Hudson Area Food Pantry!
The race will be starting on November 1 at 6 p.m., along the trail by Hudson Cinema.
Registration forms are available at Rumors, the Thompson Museum, Bean Creek Garden Center or online at Running with E’s (http://www.runningwithes.com). The cost will be $25, or $20 with the donation of 5 non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Hudson Food Pantry. Register by October 20 to guarantee shirt size, but registrations will be open at the event.
The course will be an out-and-back course, with a turnaround at Hudson High School and finishing at the Rumors patio, where Rumors will be offering a special Day of the Dead menu.
A zombie costume contest is also being held that day, with registration starting at 4:00 p.m. and judging to take place at 5:30 p.m. Hudson Cinema will be donating prizes for the best male and female zombies.
Proceeds will benefit the Thompson House Museum and the Hudson Food Pantry.
