Tara Luma and Mike Smith Engaged

An outdoor wedding is being planned by Tara Luma and Mike Smith. Tara is the daughter of Mark and Brenda Luma of Hudson. She is a Human Resources Analyst at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Mike is the son of Dave and Mary Ellen Jackson of Battle Creek and the late Harold Smith. He is a Client Engineer at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. The couple will be married September 30, 2006 at Gull Lake Country Club in Richland.

Kendra Dekin Graduates 

Proud parents Terry Deken and Rusty Baker would like to congratulate their daughter Kendra Dekin for her recent college graduation from Owens Community College. She received honors from Psi Beta and also from Chi Alpha Epsilon for her academic accomplishments. She received her degree in social work, which she is already utilizing by working with children with cancer and sickle cell at St. Vincents Hospital in Toledo, Ohio.
