Robert Guss . . .

former long time resident of Hudson was hospitalized for over 2 weeks recently at the West Branch Medical Center due to a heart attack and other illness.  He has now been released to the Kings Nursing Home in Houghton Lake for rehabilitation but hopes to return home soon.  Bob had planned to attend the Market House grand opening but was in the hospital at that time, however he still has hopes of visiting the store once his recovery allows.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon DeLine

          
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon DeLine of Hudson will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Wavah J. Diesler and Gordon DeLine were united in marriage on June 17, 1956 by the Rev. Leland Penizine at the Methodist Church in Frontier, Michigan. Gordon retired from construction and Wavah from M&S Manufacturing Co. They have two daughters: Melody (Alfred) Leone of Long Beach, CA and Michelle (Alan) Simpkins of Ocala, FL. There are two grandsons, Austin Simpkins and A.J. Leone. There will be an open house at the American Legion in Hudson on July 23, 2006 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM hosted by their children. No gifts, please -- just a note of memories.

Leon and Mable  Schulte of Hudson will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. An open house  will be given by their son Rick and his wife Dawn, grandchildren Chad and Kassi and great grandchildren Paige and Drey on July 22, 2006, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Hidden River South Club House on M-52 in Adrian.  Friends  and family are invited to attend.
