EVEN THOUGH IT'S SUMMER, there's still summer school going on. Elementary school teacher Cazzie Mansfield reads to kids at Lincoln School Monday. Mansfield is the daughter-in-law of long-time Lincoln School teacher Audrey Mansfield.

The Gun 
A RECENT ACQUISITION of the Tiger Basketball Program is this device, called "The Gun" made Shootaway Products. This device helps players work on shooting and rebounds. It was given to the program by the Hudson Athletic Boosters. Coach Wayne Perry says thanks to the Boosters from the boys and girls basketball teams.

THE RECENTLY REPAINTED sign for the Hudson Industrial Park is a big improvement to the appearance of the city.

Engagement Announced
A spring wedding is being planned by Jason Richardson and Amy Milliman, both graduates of Hudson Area High School. Ms. Milliman is the daughter of Lonnie and Diane Milliman of Hudson. Amy graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is currently employed by the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor on the pulmonary unit. Richard is the son of Neal and Janice Richardson of Hudson. Jason has completed the Carpenters Local 1004 apprenticeship training school. He is a journeyman carpenter currently working for Grand River Construction. The couple plan to be married on May 19th, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Hudson.
