ALISHA MOSHER
of Hudson was honored at a bridal shower on Sunday, October 8th held at
our Saviour Lutheran Church in Hudson with 40 friends and family members
in attendance.
The tables were adorned with chocolate chip cookie mix jars at each seat
that the attendees later took home. Everyone enjoyed an afternoon of
games, prizes, desserts and gift opening.
Special guests included the bride elects mother, Denise Shaddock
of Grand Ledge, her future mother-in-law Mary Ann Frees and her
fiancé’s grandmother, Lucille Siegel of Prattville.
Alisha’s soon to be aunts, Joyce Sprunger, Lori Butts and
Janet Frees, as well as her mother hosted the shower. They were ably
assisted by Holly Clark and Sara Frees. She will marry
Richard “Rich” Frees also of Hudson on November 25, 2006 at Our
Saviour Lutheran Church.

GIRLS Cross-Country teams won the Hudson Booster Invitational meet
held here last Saturday. Samantha Tennis (left) was the first of
the Hudson Girls, finishing in seventh place. Cassie Bailey, on
the right, finished eleventh overall.

REUNITED:
Former Hudson Cross Country runners Chelsea Berlin (Adrian
College), Alyse Smith (Lake Superior State University) and
Rachel Ham (Siena Heights), all ran Saturday at the All-Michigan
Meet at Ferris State. Former Hudson star Robert Deo also ran in
the event.

THE HUDSON TIGER Varsity Football Team was treated to a team
dinner at Margarita's last Thursday evening, sponsored by Sukhbir
Singh of 127 Party Store.

and members of the
Clayton
First United Methodist Church have been busy getting ready for their
50th Annual Turkey Dinner, which will be Thursday at the church from
5:00
to
7:00 PM.
ALUMNI
of the Riverside Hospital School of Nursing toured the
Hudson
Museum last week. This month the Museum has a display of memorabilia
from the Toledo school, which had many students from the local area over
the years.
SERVANTS
OF OUR SAVIOUR (SOS),
a Men’s Ministry Group from Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Hudson,
cleared out the Jackson Street entrance to the bike trail on Saturday,
October 7th. The men worked for hours clearing brush, overgrown vines,
leaves and trash from the trail.
