The Sacred Heart School had a Gingerbread Shop for the students to come and shop for their family.  It gives the children a chance to give a gift to their family members at Christmas time.  It also teaches them how to manage their money.  As the children were shopping, I could see how excited they became when they would find that one perfect gift for each person on their list.  It was so fun to watch the children faces light up when they entered the room!

SANTA visited Lincoln Elementary last week, and everyone had a great time as he showed off his skills with the trombone. 

Ashley Opsal, a 2003 Hudson Area High School graduate, has graduated from Siena Heights University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude with a major in language arts and a minor in elementary education. She was also a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. Ashley is currently substitute teaching in the Mt. Clemens School District.
