Mary
Gilmore has been selected as Rima’s Worker of the Month for April.
Mary joined the Rima Team on April 30, 1981. Mary’s career has been
focused to the Machining area as a small machine operator. Beginning
with her first day on the job Mary has proven herself to be a steady,
hardworking, and dependable worker.
Production Manager,
Tim Stanley stated. “Mary is dependable. Her attendance is great.
Mary has a good eye for detail. She is on task at her machine and does
not require supervision. Mary is an example that I would use when
describing what Rima needs from a machine operator.”
Production Department
Lead Steve Englehart praised Mary by saying. “Mary is loyal and
will do anything required to get the job done. You can always depend on
Mary to get the parts machined and out the door. Another wonderful trait
that I appreciate is that Mary notices things on the machines that help
us diagnose problems. Anything that you ask of Mary she will do.”
Machinist Specialist,
Steve Kerr praised Mary in the following fashion. “Mary is an
excellent operator. Mary is one you can depend on being to work everyday
and giving 110% with every given task. She takes pride in the quantity
of part she can produce as well as the quality of the parts that she
produces. Trust me, if there is a little flaw on the part, Mary will
find it! I feel comfortable to be able to walk away from a machine that
Mary is running, knowing that if something out of the ordinary were to
happen she will recognize it and get me. Mary understands how the
machines are to operate. Sometimes I think Mary is the machine. She
always finds the best and quickest ways to make the process the most
productive. Mary always strives to be the best that she can be.
Mary has two grown
sons, Rick and Danny. When she is not working, Mary enjoys
spending time with her grandchildren and their families. She also enjoys
walking, reading, puzzles and watching television.
