Rima Worker of the Month - Jennifer Summers
                   (December 14 2006 Hudson Post-Gazette Publication)

Jennifer Summers has been selected as Rima’s  Worker of the Month for October. Jennifer joined the Rima Team on October 24, 1996. Most of her career has been spent as a Pack/Sorter, other than a short stint as a Small Machine Operator. On February 7, 2006 Jennifer accepted a new challenge. She became Rima’s Cycle Counter.

The Worker of the Month honor is not new to Jennifer. She received this honor in December 2001 also. At that time Rich Willett cited Jennifer for her consistent job skills and her ability to get the job done properly.

Those same skills plus the thoroughness she brings to the tasks are the reasons why Jennifer was awarded the Cycle Counter position. Throughput Manager, Rich Willett stated. “It has been a pleasure watching Jennifer grow the last few years.

She has tremendous work ethic and does an outstanding job. Shortly after she took on the cycle counting position I was able to add to her responsibilities. Jennifer took over putting customer releases into QAD and also doing subcontractor receivers.

She was able to learn and begin doing this in a remarkable short period of time. I am amazed each day at how quick of a learner Jennifer is. I always know with absolute confidence that any task that I ask Jennifer to do, she will do it and do it correctly, and on time. I consider it an honor to have Jennifer in our department.

Throughput Specialist Heather Lake stated, ”It is a pleasure to work with someone who learns so quickly and complains about absolutely nothing. Jennifer definitely deserves the Worker of the Month honor.”

Production Manager Tim Stanley added. “I have been assisted by Jennifer from the input of customer orders. I receive e-mails from Jennifer that tell me that the information is in our system. However, Jennifer doesn’t stop there. She also tells me if I have increases. This helps Rima to respond to our customers needs in a timelier manner.”

Jennifer and Jeremy reside outside of Hudson. They are the proud parents of Morgen and Mason. In her spare time Jennifer enjoys shopping, reading, surfing the internet, and spending time with her family.
