Hudson Area High School Senior of the Month Jessica Keene receives the Kiwanis Senior of the Month award from Kiwanian Delight Creech. Senior of the Month

November’s Senior of the Month at Hudson High is Jessica Renee Keene. Jessica has an interest in science, excels academically and is in sideline and competitive cheerleading. A member of the National Honor Society since she was a sophomore, Jessica has been a varsity cheerleader throughout high school. She was named to first-team All League cheerleading squad for the last four years and to the All-Region and All-State squads in her junior and senior years. Jessica worked at cheerleading clinics for her first three years in high school. She is also a Student Council class representative this year. Jessica’s volunteer activities include working for the Lenawee Humane Society and on Red Cross Blood drives in her junior and senior years. This year, Jessica is also volunteering her time as an E-mail Buddy. In addition to her school and volunteer activities, Jessica works as an assistant librarian and has taken babysitting jobs. Jessica plans to attend Grand Valley State University next fall where she will study biology, with a goal of pursuing animal training. Jessica is the daughter of Deborah Keene of Clayton.
