                        Roads to Rome Christian Concert
                                  February 9 2007

Steve Ashley a Hudson native to play in February concert

Steve Ashley from Hudson is with the band Roads to Rome from Nashville, Tennessee.  Steve is the son of John and Jill Ashley; John was once the band director at Waldron area schools.  The band will be playing a concert at the Lenawee Christian Family Center in Adrian, Michigan on February 9th at 7:00 p.m. and Hannah Lynn, a local artist and friend of Steve Ashley, will be opening for Roads to Rome.  It will be a free admission although a free will offering will be collected.  Roads to Rome are a Christian band on Union Street Records in Nashville, Tennessee, and are getting airplay now on the Way FM radio network all over the country.

For some artists music and ministry are so intensely intertwined that it provides a fruitful foundation for all they create. Such is the case with Roads to Rome, a gifted group of musicians driven to spread Roads to Rome (the name taken from Paul's missionary journeys which brought him, ultimately, to Rome). They consist of 5 strongly devout veteran musicians, whose desire, above all, is to spread the message of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. From New Jersey, on keyboards and background vocals is Kevin O'Neal (Shaquille's cousin), from Knoxville, TN; on drums is David Burch, the son of a missionary in Japan, on bass guitar and vocals is Seth Marcum, the son of musical missionaries from South Dakota. From Hudson, MI, on lead guitar is Steve Ashley, formerly the guitarist, singer, and songwriter of '"Nouveaux" and finally, from Columbus, OH, on lead vocals, guitar and keyboards is Michael Musick, the principal songwriter of Roads to Rome.

Roads to Rome, has been greatly blessed this year in their music ministry. Their new CD, Love Rain Down has been critically acclaimed with reviews in All Access, Christian Retailing, CBN, and others, describing them as a "Christian Coldplay". This past July, Roads to Rome appeared at the BancorpSouth Center in Tupelo, MS with Jeremy Camp and Todd Agnew. They appeared on "The Harvest Show" and "Live from Studio B" for LeSEA broadcasting, which is being shown in syndication nationally. They toured on with Shoutfest 05' and 06' along with Natalie Grant, Skillet, Building 429 and Jars of Clay. Roads to Rome just released their Christmas single, "Mr. Jones Christmas, produced by Monroe Jones (Third Day) and is being played on the WAY-FM syndication as well as American Family Radio and others. In January 2007 they will be releasing their 2nd single "Love's Cry" and they will be touring extensively throughout the U.S. and
Canada in Spring/Summer 2007.
