Lincoln School First Daddy-Daughter Dance

      

LINCOLN SCHOOL held its First Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance on Friday. The evening was spent dancing and enjoying ice cream sundaes. The Parent's Group would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and for all their help in making this event a huge success.

Evergreen Golf Course

IT'S NOT CLEAR if the Evergreen Golf Course will be opening this spring. Randy Rice of the Bank of Lenawee reports that the course is now under the control of the court trustee, and decisions will have to be made by them. The course is for sale. It's listed through D. Danberry Company realtors in Toledo, OH.


Grandma Camp's 95 Birthday Celebrated
 

                  
"The 4th grade students at Sacred Heart School played their choir bells to celebrate Grandma Camp's 95th birthday and for the residents at the Lenawee Medical Facility.  After playing several songs the students took the bells around to the residents to share the gift of God through

Grumbellies Restaurant Opens


GRUMBELLIES RESTAURANT
, located at the site of the former Boston Inn, is the newest addition to the Hudson restaurant scene. Owner Tanya Woodford is ready to give great food and great service to all her customers.

 

Bean Creek Has Open Spots of Flowing Water

THE WEATHER HAS MODERATED a little, and Bean Creek again has open spots of flowing water as the spring runoff begins. The new date to begin Daylight Savings Time is only two weeks off and the days are getting longer, so it seems like spring is coming. Still, on an overcast day a black and white photo is about as colorful as a colored one.

Alumni Banquet June 23

The Hudson Area Alumni Banquet will be June 23, 2007 at the American Legion Hall. The social hour will begin at 4:30 with dinner at 5:00 PM. The cost will be $17 per person.

The classes honored will be 1957, 1982 and 2007. All other classes are encouraged to attend.

St. Patrick's Dinner Dance at Sacred Heart

The annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner Dance will be Saturday, March 17 2007, at Sacred Heart Parish, 209 S. Market Street, Hudson, MI 49247. Dinner begins at 6:30 PM, and dancing runs 7:30 to 11:00 PM. The menu includes corned beef and cabbage, chicken, vegetable, salad, rolls, dessert, beverage and beer. (There will be a cash bar for liquor.) Tickets are $15  per person. Carry outs will be available for $7.00.
