Mrs Carol Turner's Reading Students

Students Enjoy Favorite Book Night At Lincoln: On Tuesday, March 13th, Mrs. Carol Turner's reading students attended a very special evening called Favorite Book Night at Lincoln Elementary in Hudson. During this time, each student shared his or her favorite books with parents. This was an evening to celebrate all of their hard work so far this year. The night began with a mystery reader who turned out to be Lincoln's Mrs. Sherry Kirkland. Everyone enjoyed her book Wild About Books. As the evening ended, each student received a bookmark and a stuffed animal. Everyone enjoyed this special time of reading.

District VIII Band and Orchestra Festival

The HS Concert Band traveled to Jackson HS last weekend to participate in the District VIII Band and Orchestra Festival. The band was rated on aspects of tone, intonation, rhythm, technique and interpretation and was found to be excellent by the judging panel. This marks the 4th consecutive year that the HS band has earned this distinction. The band has thus earned the right to compete later this spring at the state level.  Congratulations to the high school band and director Crystal Bough.
