Happy Birthday to our
Favorite Bus Driver

As our favorite
bus driver came to Sacred Heart School
on Friday afternoon, she had one big surprise as the whole school sang

Taylor J. Ramos Graduates from basic
training
Air
Force Airman Taylor J. Ramos has graduated from basic military training
at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During
the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission,
organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and
ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship,
field training exercises, and special training in human relations.
In
addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an
associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is
the son of Renee Ramos of Lakeside Drive S., Hudson, MI.
Ramos is
a 2002 graduate of Hudson High School.
Lincoln
Student Do Well at Science Olympiad
On March
24, 2007, Lincoln Elementary sent students to compete in the Tri-County
Elementary Science Olympiad, which took place at Vo-Tech.
The
fifth grade team members were Bronwyn Evans, Hunter Gamble, Lydia
Hoffman, Dustin Mattison, Sean Murray, Cody Nelson, Emily Ladd, J.D.
Waters, Kelly Wohlgemuth and Erin Wonders.
The
fourth grade team members were Emily Christensen, Jeannette High, Paul Adya, McKendry Evans, Zach Luma,
and Andrew Enerson.
The
fifth grade events and standings were: Crime Busters 1st, Find It! 1st,
Picture This 1st, Measure It 2nd, Paddle Boat 2nd, Save Our Earth 3rd,
Chopper Challenge 3rd, and Egg Drop 4th.
The
fourth grade events and standings were: Fuzz Ball Catapult 1st, Science
Detectives 1st, Picture This 2nd, Paper Rockets 3rd, and Cool It!
4th.
The
Fifth graders were awesome! They finished in 1st place bringing home
blue ribbons and a trophy. Other schools competing against Hudson were
Morenci, Clinton, Britton-Macon, and St. Joseph's Academy, and Addison,
The
fourth graders did an incredible job, especially as we only had 6
members on our team! We were able to compete in 5 of the 8 events. The
other five competing schools averaged 10 people per team. Our 4th grade
team received a ribbon for placing 5th overall . Great Work and what
great SPORTSMANSHIP you exemplified in this competition!
Coaches
for both teams were Mrs. Audrey Mansfield, Mrs. Amy Leffel and Mrs. Tina
Ladd.
