Brownies Celebrate Great American SmokeOut
Did
you hear us scream? The members of 2nd Grade Brownie Troop 180 (Helping
Hands for Hudson) took part in the American Cancer Society's Great
American SmokeScream. The girls screamed as loud as they could so that
everyone in Hudson would hear that they pledged not to start smoking!
Thanks to funding from United Way, the Brownies purchased two copies of
a print showing healthy lungs and blacked smoker lungs. These framed
prints were presented to both Mrs. Godfrey at
Lincoln
Elementary and Mrs. Johnston at Sacred Heart School in honor of the 2007
Great American SmokeOut. The prints will be hung up at both schools so
all of the students can see the dangers of smoking.
THANK YOU United Way
for helping us help Hudson!
