  Owner and
   Publisher

Ed Potter has been a part of the family owned newspaper since his earliest years and served as editor for over 40.  He and his father, Harvey, were business partners until his father retired. A great uncle, Stanley Stone, had previously owned the business since 1908.  Ed together with his late wife Katy enjoyed numerous vacations traveling around the U.S. but the most pleasurable were at their Indian River cottage where he continues to spend time each summer.  A member of the Hudson First Baptist Church, Ed remains active too in the affairs of the newspaper.  If he's not out some where fishing perhaps you can reach him at the Hudson Post Gazette!
